Bringing you Home

I brought you home the Monday after you were born. We lived in a big green house on a hill. Your room was just a little balcony that got closed off to make a little room right off of my room. Your Memaw had to finish decorating your room all by herself because we weren't finished with it since you decided to arrive 3 weeks early. She was ridiculously helpful. For a while, you slept in a bassinet type thing right next to my bed so I didn't have to get up.

This is your crib

Awww

A lot of the time, I would sit in front of my computer watching shows on Netflix with you in my lap drinking your bottle. It was awesome bonding time. You really loved your bouncy chair. If you had trouble sleeping I would sing you Into the West and pet your head.

And what a sweet head it is!

The thing you're doing with your thumb in that picture is something only you and I can do. It makes it hard to play the cello. But it's kind of awesome.

Hanging out in your boppy.

My favorite (of 2) newborn outfits you had.
